Reviews and Ratings
I had a fantastic stay at the hotel, with one of the nicest rooms and incredible views. The rooms were large, comfortable, and fabulous, perfect for a single businessman like me. The service was friendly and efficient, although there were some instances of staff being distracted. The location was good, slightly further from the city center than expected but still convenient for exploring Edinburgh. The dining experience had some drawbacks in terms of food quality and value. Overall, a great experience with some minor downsides.
The hotel offers beautiful rooms with fantastic views over Edinburgh; however, the initial room was small and not heated. The service was exceptional with friendly and engaging staff. The location is ideal, close enough to the city center for convenience yet situated in a quiet area. The dining experience had its shortcomings, but room service was a highlight.
I absolutely loved the convenience of the hotel's location, especially because we could easily take our dog in and out from the car park directly to our room without bothering other guests. However, the lack of proper ventilation made the room uncomfortably hot, and the scaffolding outside was an unwelcome surprise. The room itself felt spacious and was beautifully furnished.
The hotel is situated in a quiet residential area just a couple of minutes walk from Princes Street, offering a beautiful and convenient location. The rooms provide gorgeous views over the Mary Poppins-like rooftops of Edinburgh's west end and have been recently refurbished to a high standard. The service is incredibly friendly and helpful, with the hotel staff being the best ambassadors. A great spot to stay with an oasis-like calmness amidst the city's hustle and bustle.
The hotel is located in a nice area, quiet but convenient for shops, etc. The rooms have everything you need, but some noise disturbances from the bar area may affect your stay. The service is friendly and professional, though some disturbances were reported. The location is excellent for shopping and attractions, although a bit of a walk from the center. The dining options were satisfactory but not outstanding, and some disapproval was expressed regarding the value for money. Overall, a decent stay with minor inconveniences.
I had a great stay at the hotel. The rooms were very clean and tastefully decorated, with a huge comfy bed. Although there was no air conditioning, a provided fan kept the room cool. The quality of food at dinner and breakfast was top-notch, complemented by the cozy room decor and comfort.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with chic decor and a gorgeous view of the city. The service was nice, though not exceptional. The location is excellent for exploring central Edinburgh. The dining experience could be improved with more menu options, and the facilities are decent.
The hotel was fantastic, offering large, clean, spacious, and comfy rooms with a view at good value for the price. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to cater to our needs. The location was central and lovely, providing a great retreat after exploring the city. The dining experience was lovely, though a bit pricey for small portions. Overall, a wonderful stay with exceptional amenities.
